Common questions from companies

What does a room for employees cost?

From CHF 720 per month all-in: furnished, with utilities, internet and cleaning included. Large rooms can be used for double occupancy for teams, which cuts the cost per person by around 40 percent. You usually receive an individual offer within 24 hours on business days.

Can the company be the tenant, or does the employee rent directly?

Both are possible. Your company can act as tenant and provide the housing as an employer benefit, or your employees rent directly. We set up the contract model to suit your need.

Does this also work for posted workers?

Yes. Our furnished rooms correspond to accommodation of the usual standard within the meaning of Art. 3 of the Posted Workers Act (EntsG): a private, lockable room, bed, desk and chair, access to kitchen, bathroom and WC, heating and daylight. This meets the requirements for posted workers in Switzerland.

How is the accommodation treated on the salary certificate?

If the company provides a room, the Federal Tax Administration leaflet N2 sets a benefit in kind of CHF 345 per month. We provide the details you need for correct accounting.

How quickly is a room ready?

Usually within a few days. For several people or specific location requests, we agree the timeline with you in the offer.

Are there rooms for entire teams in one place?

Yes. We provide several rooms at one location, and large rooms can be used for double occupancy. For fitters and project teams this is the most cost-effective solution.

Which regions do you cover?

Currently several locations in German-speaking Switzerland, including Aarau, Brugg and St. Gallen. For other regions, contact us and we will check feasibility.
